Over the last few weeks, the Conference Board has reported increases in Leading Indexes for the following countries for August:

1. Japan (+0.2%)

2. U.K. (+0.1%, following gains in June and July).  

3. China (+0.7%, following increases of 0.8% in July and 1.2% in August).

4. Spain (+0.6%, second consecutive monthly increase).
